A lot of people email us daily with the same question:
“How do I cancel my Bible Chat subscription?”
First, let us clarify a few things:
Yes, we strongly object to these tactics. We do not believe in charging people to spread the Word of God. We also do not believe that tricking people into a free trial and hoping they forget to cancel is a Christian way to do business. This is something we will never do.
If the logo you’re seeing is different from ours, you’re most likely on one of those deceitful apps also called “Bible Chat.”
Remember, Jesus himself overturned the tables of the money changers in the Temple (Matthew 21:12–13). He was passionate about ensuring the sacred was not exploited for profit. In a similar vein, these questionable apps are charging you under the guise of ministry, which we believe runs counter to Jesus’s example.
“In their greed these teachers will exploit you with fabricated stories. Their condemnation has long been hanging over them…”
— 2 Peter 2:3
This passage reminds us that the Bible clearly warns against deceiving people for money. We stand firmly against any practice that misuses faith as a revenue scheme.
As much as we wish we could unsubscribe you from these apps, we don’t have control over their systems. However, you can cancel by following the steps below—even if these deceptive developers make it difficult to contact them.
After completing these steps, you should no longer be charged for the subscription service. If you were on a trial period, make sure the trial is fully canceled to avoid any future payments.
If you’re looking for a completely free Bible study app with no subscriptions or hidden fees, we encourage you to try BibleChat.ai. Unlike those impostor apps:
Of course, it does cost money to run any app—servers, development, and maintenance aren’t free. However, we’ve chosen to keep BibleChat.ai free for everyone, forever. That’s why we ask our users to become Sponsors under our “Pay It Forward” program.
And if you can’t become a sponsor? We’ll always find someone who’s willing to sponsor you on your faith journey. No hidden subscriptions, no “free trial” tricks, just a truly free (sponsored) experience—the way spreading the Word of God should be.
If you’ve been burned by one of these misleading “Bible Chat” apps, we understand your frustration. We hope this guide helps you cancel their subscription and transition to a more authentic, supportive community at BibleChat.ai.
